The first trials will be held the week of April 23, 2012
Trials will be held in:
· UL – covering Clare, North Tipperary and Limerick
· Killarney – covering West Limerick, West Cork and Kerry
· Mardyke, UCC – covering Cork – Wednesday, April 25
· Tipperary (provisionally Carrick) – covering Waterford and South Tipperary
The areas do not need to be stuck to rigidly, which ever venue is most suitable to your school or location:
The management team are looking for players born after January 1, 1994: This can include players born in 1994 and 1995: The players will be in either 4th or 5th year this year:
If any student deemed up to the required standard repeats next year (2012/2013) please feel free to contact Derek O’Brien in September and inform him of the relevant player: This happens every year and generally there are always 2 or 3 repeat students who make the final squad:
Names and information must be sent to Derek by Friday, March 16 at 5pm: Any school that does not send names in by this time will not be allowed participate in the trials and those players will not be considered for selection:
The deadline must be met as to ensure that the trials are organised properly:
Derek will require the following information for each player:
· Name
· School
· County
· Date of Birth
· Position(s) – must include right/left or centre
· Club
· Year in school
· Venue of trial to attend
