FAI Schools Munster Girls Football
The Munster Branch, Girls Section are organising trials for the 2018 Munster Girls football panel and the details are given below.
Once the Munster panel are selected, they will receive intensive training and preparation and will take part in the Schools Interprovincial tournament in November.
Following this tournament, an extended National squad will then be selected from the four competing provinces and to participate in the Bob Docherty Cup which will take place in Easter 2019.
Date: Sunday, September 9.
Times: 10am to 12 midday for players from Tipperary and Waterford.
1pm to 3pm for players from Clare, Limerick, Kerry and Cork.
Venue: Cahir Park. The pitch is astro, so all footwear except those with steel studs.
Age: Players must be born on or after January 1, 2004.
Requirements A high level of ball control, skill and fitness. Players must attend secondary school in a school in Munster.
An attachment is enclosed. Could players complete this and bring it with them to the trial.
