Thursday, 15 April: Section “B” Qualifiers, Ferrybank AFC
In Group 1: Ballyduff, Piltown A, Ferrybank A competed with Piltown and Ferrybank qualifying for the Group1/2 Play Offs
In Group 2: Butlerstown, Piltown C, Portlaw B competed with Butlerstown and Portlaw B qualifying for the Group 1/2 Play Offs
In Group 3: Piltown B, St Senans, Ferrybank B, Portlaw a competed with Portlaw A qualifying for the next round of East Waterford Section B Boys qualifiers

Friday 16 April: Section C Qualifiers, Kingfisher Sports Complex
Group 1 consisted of St Stephens, Holy Cross A, St: Declan’s B
Group 2 consisted of St Declans A, Glor na Mara B, Holy Cross B
Group 3 consisted of Mount Sion, Glor na Mara A, and Scoil Lorcain
In Group 1, St Stephens opened up with a good 3/0 victory over St Declans B, Holy Cross A also defeated St Declans B 4/0:
The final game of the group was very close but St Stephens just edged out Holy Cross A 1/0 to qualify for the County Waterford final with Holy Cross A advancing to the final position play off
In Group 2, St Declan’s A comfortably defeated Glor na Mara B, Holy Cross B and Glor na Mara B played out a 2/2 cracker, whilst in the final game after some tense moment St Declans A defeated Holy Cross A 4/1 and qualified for the County Waterford final: After a tense penalty shoot out Holy Cross B advanced to the final position play off
In Group 3, Scoil Lorcain got off to a great start with a 3/0 win over Glor Na Mara A, In game two Glor Na Mara raced into a 3/0 lead over Mount Sion but Mount Sion came storming back to draw 4/4: In the final game Mount Sion defeated Scoil Lorcain 3/2 and qualified for the County Waterford final: Scoil Lorcain advanced to the final position play off
In the final position play off we had Hoy Cross A, Holy Cross B, and Scoil Lorcain: Scoil Lorcain won the draw to advance straight to the final: Holy Cross A and Holy Cross B played out a 0/0 draw so penalty shoot out was required which Holy Cross A just edged out their B side:
In the final game Holy Cross proved to be too strong for Scoil Lorcain and won 3/0
Friday 23 April: Holy Cross, Mount Sion, St Declan’s, and St Stephens will meet in Ferrybank to decide which school will represent Waterford in the Munster Finals 2010
