The Girls Primary Schools Futsal in Mayo took part in the impressive Barnacarroll Sport Hall today (3 December) with five Schools (49 girls) participating; St: Joseph’s in Ballinrobe, Bohola, Barnacarroll, Derrywash and Kilkelly:
The competition proved very popular with all teams displaying a high degree of skills on the ball:
Derrywash NS emerged as the overall winners with Bohola NS running them close with one point to spare:
In fact, Derrywash are maintaining their success in Schools competitions as the boys captured the "A" Schools All Ireland title in the EA Sports FAI Schools 5-a-side competition last May in Tullamore:
