The Galway Post Primary Schools Boys First Year futsal blitz took place in Ballygar Community Centre on Wednesday 10 November: There were nine teams participating representing seven schools: Those involved in proceedings included Colaiste Mhuire, Ballygar, St: Joseph’s College, The Jes, Colaiste na Corribe, Presentation College, Headford, St: Mary’s College and Galway Community College:
St: Joseph’s College more commonly known as “the bish” emerged victorious after seeing off Presentation College Headford in a nail/biting conclusion to the final in additional time:
St: Joseph’s will now travel to the Connacht Finals to represent Galway in the boys section of the competition on 18 November in the impressive NUIG Sports Centre:
