The Republic of Ireland Schools team will have a run out against Northern Ireland U16s in a Friendly on Sunday next, January 26, 2014 in the AUL Complex, Clonshaugh (KO 2pm):
Lorraine Counihan (Colaiste Mhuire, Buttevant) has been appointed International Schools Manager this season: The Limerick native served as Assistant Manager in 2013 and will take over the managerial position from Tullamore’s Richelle O’Neill:
O’Neill had quite a successful squad last season picking up the runners up spot in the Bob Docherty Cup in Belfast: Counihan will be looking to go one better this season and take home the prestigious title:
St: Kilian’s Alistair Harvey has been appointed Coach while Tipperary man, David Rooney joins the team as Goalkeeping Coach:
The squad will have another competitive friendly against England in Maidstone United FC on Saturday, March 8 ahead of the Bob Docherty Cup will take place in Repton School, Derbyshire from April 14 to 17, 2014:
