KO 19:35, Live on Sky Sports

The countdown is on to the conclusion of this year’s Centenary Shield and it’s all to play for with three teams in contention:

Unfortunately the Republic of Ireland will have to relinquish their title following draws against Scotland and Wales while tasting defeat to Northern Ireland earlier in the campaign: However our counterparts Northern Ireland, Scotland and England are all in the running for the coveted title:

Exciting times as the penultimate game will see second place Scotland take on title contenders England in Inverness Caledonian Thistle tomorrow evening, Thursday, April 21 with a kick off time of 7:35pm: The match will be screened live on Sky Sports:

At the moment England have two games in hand against league leaders Northern Ireland: The next two games are crucial for Andy Williams side and are definitely must win games as they require all 6 points to cause a late surge for the title:

If Scotland were to win tomorrow night, they could share the spoils with Northern Ireland on 8 points but only if England lost to the host nation in Dublin in a week’s time: A draw for both sides would prove useless:

However, if the English were to win tomorrow night it would be game on in Tallaght as Irish Manager Dave Archbold goes in search of a win on home soil and to end the campaign on a high: While Williams goes all out to claim the silverware in dramatic fashion:

The game will be televised live on Sky Sports next Thursday, April 28 (KO 19:35) but FAI Schools would be delighted if you were free to attend the big match live to cheer on the lads in green:
