Offaly good day out:::
12 Offaly primary schools took part in the EA Sports FAI Schools 5 a side competition: The competition is broken down into 5 separate sections, which include the boys and girls A Cup for small schools, girls and boys B Cup for medium size schools and the Boys C Cup for large schools:
Offaly schools entered 30 teams into the different competitions with over 240 students taking part: The finals took place in Tullamore Town’s fantastic new facilities at Leah Victoria Park:
Following an excellent day of competition and fun the following schools were victorious and will now go on to represent Offaly in the Mid Leinster Finals on Wednesday 30th April against the County winners from Laois, Kildare and Kilkenny:

The event was co/ordinated by FAI Development Officer Luke Hardy who was assisted by Transition Year Students from Colaiste Choilm who were involved in refereeing and organizing fixtures:
