North Inner City (NIC) Cup
The inaugural NIC cup, devised by Paul Martyn, assisted by Christy Lougheed, Ian Hill, Olivia O’Toole and the staff of St: Laurance O’Toole Recreation Centre was run over two days last week at Sheriff St: Dublin:
Girls
The Olivia O’Toole Cup was won by St: Laurance O’Toole GNS who beat St: Josephs East Wall in a closely contested final:
Seven teams also including St: Vincent’s, Marlboro St:, Rutland St, St: Mary’s and Fairview competed:
Boys
The Curtis Fleming Cup was also won by St: Laurance O’Toole who again beat St: Josephs East Wall, this time in sudden death:
Thirteen teams competed including O’Connell’s, St: Joseph’s Fairview, Marlboro St, Rutland St:
