How to:::

The Ford Team Challenge is a competition which is simple to enter and gives you and your team/mates the chance to parade your silky skills on uefa:com alongside the likes of Samuel Eto’o and Kaká: And, if you show enough style and panache, your team could be driving to games next season in a brand new Ford Mini/bus:

All you need is a ball and someone to film you and your team showing off a dazzling array of skills: Using a minimum of THREE players over the age of 13, the challenge for your team is to demonstrate as many innovative tricks as you can in a one minute time period: The time starts when the first player kicks the ball: So long as everything you do is safe and there is no risk of injury, you have a license to perform as many tricks and skills as you want, using whatever equipment you like: So, if you want to shoot the ball through hoops, juggle the ball whilst doing a handstand or even try the much/maligned Scorpion Kick then that’s fine – the key is to use your imagination!

The ball can touch the ground as many times as you want but it is imperative that at least three players make contact with the ball at some point during the 60/second time limit: Once you have filmed your magical minute and you are happy with the contents then you can upload the video onto the uefa:com/trainingground: Each one will be monitored by a panel of experts which will include a Ford Champion and the UEFA Football Development Department:

The winning team will receive a Ford Minibus and will be fully kitted out in Adidas football gear: Second and third place will win 14 full Adidas kits along with balls for their team: The experts will be looking for teamwork, innovative skills and ground/breaking ideas from all participants:

At the beginning of each video one member of the team should introduce the coach and the team name and say the following words before starting the challenge: “This is our entry for the UEFA Training Ground Ford Team Challenge:” It should be noted that if they do not do this, their video will not be disqualified, however: It just makes our jobs a little bit harder:

The five most popular videos on the site will go to the panel of experts: Submit as many clips as you want, but take note, only one video per club can be in the top five at any time: All clips will be moderated by UEFA before they are placed on the site and the video selected by the panel as the best will be deemed the winner:

The competition will run from 21st May to 15th December, 2008: The winners will be announced the following week:
