The FAI in conjunction with Fingal County Council ran a Intercultural Cup for 5th and 6th class students last Tuesday, 24 March in Corduff Sports Centre with a total of 8 schools participating:
St: Ciaran's Hartstown were eventual winners over the impressive St: Patricks of Corduff:
Other schools involved in the day's proceedings included St: Mochtas, Clonsilla, Scoil Thomais, Laurel Lodge, Mulhuddart NS, Mulhuddart

In the day's action St: Ciarans, Hartstown beat St: Patricks, Corduff 3/2 on penalties after playing out an exhilarating 1/1 draw in full time:
Both teams played fantastic attacking and exciting football with both bringing 100% records into the penultimate game of the tournament
This new tournament that will be hosted annually in Dublin 15, seen local schools from Dublin 15 competing in this ‘Intercultural Football’ initiative by the FAI in conjunction with Fingal CoCo:
The tournament incorporates a 1 day Futsal blitz with a 30 min workshop for all players on Tackling Racism in Sport and also the FAI's ‘Show Racism the Red Card’ presentation:
