ST JOSEPH’S COLLEGE, Galway, booked their place in the All-Ireland Final with a 3-1 on penalties after a tense shoot-out at Ray MacSharry Park, Cranmore, yesterday, (Friday 3 April)

Tom Curran put St Joseph’s ahead from Barry McCabe’s free-kick on the hour mark but the impressive Eric Roberts equalised for Loreto with a blistering shot eight minutes later and the stalemate remained in extra-time.
In the shoot-out Brian Gaffney, Ross Lynskey and Ger Hanley were on target for St. Joseph’s while Barry McNamee was the lone scorer for Loreto.
