Primary and Secondary schools nationwide to battle it out in Futsal Finals

Students from primary and secondary schools from around Ireland will meet throughout January and February to compete in the finals of the Futsal schools competition.
The Secondary Schools Futsal competition is in its first year nationally after a successful pilot programme last year in South Leinster. It caters for 1st year students both boys and girls.
Each team have come through their county finals to get to the provincial stage and have received futsal resources and coaching sessions from their local FAI Regional Development Officers.
The competition is very highly regarded with each team eager to take home the accolade of Provincial Futsal Champions and ultimately the All Ireland Futsal Champions crown.

The Primary Schools event is in its pilot stage with only schools in Leinster competing this year. It caters for boys and girls in 3rd and 4th class, an age group which is crucial in the development of young players.
Each county winner has been receiving coaching sessions from their local FAI Regional Development Officer in preparation for the finals.
