Padraig Curley’s team were in control from start to finish and it’s unlikely if they’ll ever have things so much their own way.
It was a dominant display by the Milford pupils, although Patrician proved to be largely obliging opponents for the most part.
They were four goals to the good by the interval and added another four after the break, with Patrician having broken the one-way flow when Michael Connolly netted just 26 seconds into the second half.
Adrian Delap and Shane McNamee bagged a brace apiece while Adam Serrinha, Ryan Flood and Paddy Carr got in on the act.
McNamee struck twice in the first half, but had to be withdrawn early in the second half having taken a blow to the face with the ball that led to a badly swollen right eye.
Milford were well on top from the off and broke the deadlock when Delap tucked home from Serrinha’s cross in the 16th minute.
Barely a minute later, they doubled the advantage when McNamee superbly rounded Philip Clerkin and neatly placed his shot into the far side of Eoin Muldoon’s net.
McNamee added another when he finished off a move involving Serrinha and Delap.
On the stroke of half-time, Delap was the provider again as he centred for Serrinha to make it 4-0 at the changeover.
By then, there was only one winner, but Patrician did pull a goal back when Connolly steered in after Shaun Graham parried a cross by Cillian Marron.
Even their celebrations were in mock of themselves by that stage and the procession wasn’t long in resuming.
Connor Gomley and Ryan Toye had half chances for Milford while Gormley wasn’t far off a wonder goal when he tried to catch Muldoon out when the Patrician ‘keeper was well off his goal-line.
Little converted the fifth after another ball in by Serrinha and, on the hour, it was six as sub Flood raced up to score with Milford cutting through their opposition at will, with Serrinha and Carr to the fore.
Delap wonderfully got his second of the afternoon when, after a through ball by Flood, the Derry City man delicately danced past Muldoon and tapped home.
Delap and Gormley are due in Dublin this weekend with the Republic of Ireland home-based under-17 squad and were withdrawn here with their day’s work long since completed.
They, along with McNamee, under-pinned the strength of the Milford squad throughout and they completed the rout in style as Carr brilliantly steered beyond Muldoon from an inch-perfect cross by Little.
Carndonagh Community School await in the final, which is due to be played next week at a venue and time to be confirmed.
