Hi all
This e-mail is with reference to the Leinster Junior Leagues.
In what will hopefully become normal procedure, I have combined all Junior League fixtures in one booklet, the link for which is below.
The group stages of this competition commence immediately. The vast majority of group closing dates are set for Friday November 25th, so that gives six school weeks to play 2/3 group matches, so please get your matches arranged asap. Matches can be played in any order.
We are also pleased to launch Division Three competitions in the North East & Midlands regions, bringing to four the number of regions offering this level of competition.
We are also restarting our Leinster Champions League competition in 2023, so it is absolutely vital that all regions stay on track in terms of getting their competitions finished. Currently, the Champions League will be offered to all Division One & Division Two winners – a decision as to whether or not there will be a Division Three Champions League will be taken before Christmas.
The mentor contacts booklet for all regions is attached. Please keep the document safe & store in accordance with GDPR.
Details of the various competition organisers are detailed in both the fixture booklet & the mentor contacts booklet. Remember, it is the responsibility of the mentor to remain in contact with the competition organiser & not their job to chase you.
Also attached are two documents:
- A ‘Procedural, Competition & Match Guide’ which covers all areas of competition administration (& saves countless e-mails!) &
- An ‘A-Z Guide for New Mentors’ for anyone that is new to taking teams in our association.
As always, referees must be appointed via the referees allocator for your region – details are available here: http://faischools.ie/leinster/post-primary-boys/referees-information/allocations-schools-matches Please give as much notice as possible to the referee allocators.
The fixture booklet is available by clicking on the PDF below.
