FAI SCHOOLS LEINSTER BRANCH ANNOUNCES BODIBRO SPONSORSHIP
The FAI Schools Leinster Branch is delighted to announce a partnership with Bodibro, the Wexford based sporting apparel company. The sponsorship deal, which will cover 2024-2026 will see Bodibro come on board as sponsor of the Leinster League competitions – the Leinster Champions League in the Boys Section & the Leinster Leagues Division One in the Girls Section.
Bodibro was established in 2014, founded by Wexford GAA star Ben Brosnan. A family-based business, the apparel offered by Bodibro boasts exceptional designs, the ability to offer complete personalisation on products, the authenticity of each and every bulk order, the in-house embroidery machine, and exceptional customer service. Bodibro are a Wexford company and are very proud that their HQ is based in Gorey, this is something we don’t think will ever change.
The Leinster League competition saw its birth way back in 1984, as a competition between the Dublin & Drogheda league finalists at Minor (U-15) level. As boys soccer in Leinster expanded & more regions came on board, the competition expanded in 1987-88 to three age groups & the then four regional leagues in Leinster. Further expansion saw the advent of six Leinster regional leagues in the early 1990’s & the addition of a First Year age group in the early 2000’s. The competition was rebranded as the Leinster Champions League in 2004 & was expanded to include a Division Two competition in 2004-05. In its current format, the competition brings together the eight regional league winners in a knockout competition, played at all four age groups & is second only to the Leinster Cups in terms of importance.
A girls Leinster league competition was inaugurated in 2018 & the girls section has seen a massive increase in membership in the last three seasons, no doubt spurred on by the endeavours of Katie McCabe & Denise O’Sullivan & the girls in green.
The partnership with Bodibro sees all Leinster League finalists, (16 boys teams, 8 girls teams) receive a €125 voucher to be redeemed against Bodibro products. In addition, Bodibro are launching a special schools soccer kit offer (please see flyer attached) comprising a full kit – 18 jersies, shorts & socks for €810+ vat in the schools own colours and design. This offer represents excellent value for a full kit.
