Paul O'Brien scored a hat-trick as Salesian College, Celbridge overcame Templeogue at Oscar Traynor Road today to win the FAI Schools Umbro Leinster Schools Senior Cup for the third time.
O'Brien fired the Celbridge lads ahead on eight minutes but Graham McInerney soon had Templeogue back on level terms.
The Salesians regained the lead on 49 minutes when O'Brien ran on to a through ball from Declan Molloy and finished neatly.
The Kilcock Celtic ace then beat Conor Hogan for a third time with a well-struck free kick after 83 minutes before Colm Corcoran pulled one back with a minute remaining.
